When I was planning out these posts, it became apparent almost immediately that we would need to a dedicate a day to Harry in pink. There are several pink looks to discuss – including one or two that you’ll see covered on a different day – and I don’t think there were any that I didn’t love. Another reason? Remember Harry’s pink rockabilly-esque suit from last year’s Today Show performance?
This look is the reason I know what millennial pink is and I can think of no better way to honor Harry for that. At the time, I kept seeing headlines about him in millennial pink and, as a cranky elder millennial, I had no idea what that was. I finally turned to Google and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. According to The Cut, millennial pink includes a range of different shades and is considered androgynous – the “genderless mascot” of millennials. They also call it “cheeky, sincere and nostalgic all at once,” and if that’s not the perfect description of Harry Edward Styles, then I don’t know what is. Much like Harry’s Singapore look, these pink suits don’t feel like an intentional statement – but I think they speak volumes.
Let’s take a look!
Stockholm: Calvin Klein
First pink suit of the tour! I think the pink wool fabric with the subtle windowpane check print looks amazing in this double-breasted suit. It’s a little hard and soft to me, in that there’s structure to the silhouette yet it looks a little relaxed and moves well.
You know by now I love me a side stripe.
TANK. TOP.
Manchester: Alexander McQueen
On first glance: Wow, I love this bold shade of pink.
On second glance: OH MY GOD LOOK AT THE CONTRAST WITH THAT BLOUSE ICONIC!!!! Which, yes, is a strong reaction but Harry very rarely strayed from plain black or white blouses, so this look always stands out in my mind.
Who loves pink? This guy.
Bangkok: Gucci
Make some noise for pink sparkles!
Have you ever seen something so sparkly and beautiful in your life?
I know, this photo is a little dark, but I think the close-up shows the contrast of the pink crystal trim to the pink iridescent fabric. Pink on pink on pink, y’all.
Me @ this look.
I want to include a quick shout-out to the thus-unsung sartorial heroes of Harry’s tour, his band members: Mitch, Sarah, Clare and Adam. They all look amazing, but if Sarah’s little pink Gucci jumpsuit didn’t cost thousands of dollars, I would live in it.
Dallas: Alexander McQueen
Welcome to Dallas.
I love how many different shades of pink Harry wore and I love this particular shade a lot.
The embroidery is really pretty, but for some reason I don’t feel like it works on the double-breasted jacket as well as it could have.
But on the whole, I like this look a lot and and also I’m really into Kacey Musgraves’ sparkly silver number here.
Toronto: Gucci
Shush! I have something to say!
I fucking love this suit!!
You know by now that I love black and white together, but black and pink is also very high on my list. I especially love the contrasting black lapels, I think they add so much to the overall effect.
According to Harry Styles Fashion Archive, “Detailing on the jacket features a range of motifs that often appear in Gucci collections, including the sun, flowers, snakes, bees, bunnies, and cats.” Not only is the detailing gorgeous, the black crystals picked up the lights on stage, making this suit basically perfect stagewear.
Chicago: Gucci
See what I mean? He basically wore every shade of pink.
Get a load of those flares, right? I kind of love them? They’re ridiculous but in a way that makes me really happy. And he moved well in them, I swear!
I really, really love the rose checkered wool fabric and the piping looks so good with it.
Kissy!
What do you think? Did Harry miss any hues of pink? Did any of your faves make this list? Let us know in the comments!

Listen I can’t say I wouldn’t love him in a super obnoxious Fuchsia, but that’s just me being greedy because he’s given us so damn much already.
